Description :
Reporting to the engineering organization, the Engineering Administrator is dependable and motivated with passion and pride in their work. The successful candidate will work closely with the engineering team and product management to collaboratively develop product requirements and specifications defining the products to be developed. In addition, the candidate will manage the administrative tasks e.g. ECNs, documentation, and equipment which are key to the efficient operation of the department. The successful candidate will enthusiastically support all aspects of the engineering effort in the design of our products.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist/Develop/Refine requirement and specification documents defining products to be developed
Assist in developing required documentation to maintain compliance of products in the market
Upkeep of hard copy and electronic project filing systems, archiving, and general organizational efforts to keep the department running smoothly
Assist with document processing/management, and project task coordination
Assist with maintenance and publishing of project schedules and follow-up on project schedule commitments
Organize online technical library and conduct research when needed
Ensure all engineering change orders/notices are processed
Organize staffing meetings, and other departmental functions
Maintain document retention and destruction policies
Manage the calibration, maintenance, and repair of engineering equipment
Contribute to the development of the department as an integral member the team to develop new procedures and processes as necessary
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Conduct oneself with the highest level of professionalism and ethical standards
Degree – BS (Preferred) or equivalent educational experience
Exceptional written and oral communication skills as well as organizational skills
Able to be professional and pro-active in problem solving
Ability to multi-task, work independently and have initiative to seek out resolutions
Ability to keep track of and meet deadlines
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and change management experience a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project
Attention to detail, team mentality and a positive attitude
